While Microsoft has released its new operating system Windows 7 phone, the legendary Windows Mobile 6.x is still very popular industrial handheld devices, including Trimble Nomad outdoor rugged handheld latest 900 series.
The new 900 series meets MIL-STD-810F Nomad for extreme drops, vibration and temperature, and comes with an IP67 rating.
Trimble Nomad new 900 series is powered by XScale 806 MHz and 128 MB of SDRAM. It has an auto focus camera with flash 5 megapixel, GPS, up to 6 GB of internal memory and CF and SD slot for additional memory or external plug-in.
Trimble Nomad series will also launch the 900G with 6 GB of flash memory º enhanced GPS receiver that allows GPS data for post-treatment with an accuracy of 1 to 3 meters.
Trimble Nomad handheld 900 and 900G is ideal for mobile workers in forestry, public safety, land surveying, construction, mapping, field service, utilities, and other outdoor fields or related services.
